Itinerary: Cusco - Ausangate 7 Lakes - Cusco

  • Pick up in Cusco

    • Pickup from the meeting point: 04:00 to 04:30 a.m. Plaza de Armas, BCP ATM on the corner of Espaderos Street
    • Hotel pickup in Cusco (4:30 a.m. – 5:00 a.m.) only if the hotel pickup option is selected.

  • Departure

    • Journey to Pacchanta (5:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m.) Transfer by tourist transportation for approximately 3 hours to the community of Pacchanta, located at over 4,200 meters above sea level.

  • Pacchanta

    • Traditional Andean breakfast (8:00 a.m.) only if the meal option is selected.

  • Start of the walk

    • Start of the hike to the 7 Lakes (8:30 a.m.) We begin the trekking through high-mountain landscapes, surrounded by snow-capped peaks, Andean flora, and alpacas.

  • Ausangate 7 Lakes

    • Visit to the Ausangate 7 Lakes (8:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.) Hike around the lakes Azulcocha, Otorongo, Pucacocha, Alqacocha, Qomercocha, Orco Otorongo, and Patacocha, each featuring intense colors and a unique natural setting.

  • Back to Pacchanta

    • Pacchanta hot springs (optional) (1:00 p.m.) Free time to enjoy the natural hot springs with views of the Ausangate snow-capped mountains.

  • Free time for lunch

    • Andean lunch (1:30 p.m.) only if the meal option is selected.

  • Return to Cusco

    • Return to the city of Cusco (2:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.) Return by tourist transportation to Cusco while enjoying the rural Andean landscapes along the way.
