This includes organizing transport, accommodations, excursions, and any other activity agreed upon in the travel package. Additionally, Machu-Picchu.Net is committed to protecting the passenger’s personal data security.

Customer Responsibilities:
The customer agrees to provide accurate and complete information to Machu-Picchu.Net to ensure a satisfying travel experience. The customer must also comply with all the rules and regulations of the service providers, as well as the local laws of the destination. The customer is also responsible for protecting their personal data.

Reservations and Payments:
Reservations will be made once the travel package has been agreed upon. A deposit or full payment will be required before the start of the trip, as agreed between Machu-Picchu.Net and the customer. The agreed prices will remain the same unless there are changes to the agreed travel package.

Cancellations and Changes:
Any cancellations or changes to the reservation must be notified immediately. Additional charges will apply according to the cancellation policies of the respective service provider.
📌 Specific Policies:

  • Machu Picchu Tickets: Non-refundable due to regulations set by the Peruvian government.
  • Train Tickets: Date or time changes are allowed, but no refunds are accepted.
  • Transport: Any modifications must be notified at least 24 hours in advance.

Can the date of a transport to Hidroelectrica be modified?
✅ Yes, as long as the change is made at least 24 hours before the service begins.

Can a transport to Hidroelectrica be canceled?
✅ Yes, but penalties apply depending on the time of cancellation:

  • More than 15 days before the service: 15% penalty for commission and administrative fees.
  • Between 5 and 15 days before the service: 30% penalty for administrative, operational, and payment fees.
  • Between 48 hours and 5 days before the service: 55% penalty for administrative, operational, and payment fees.
  • Less than 24 hours before the service: ❌ No refund.


What happens if I don’t arrive on time for my transport?

If you do not show up at the scheduled time, it will be considered a NO SHOW, and no refund or rescheduling will be offered.

Personal Data Security:
We are committed to protecting the passenger’s personal data security. This includes protection against unauthorized access, misuse, alteration, disclosure, or destruction of the passenger’s personal data. Machu-Picchu.Net uses appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect the passenger’s personal data.

Insurance:
It is strongly recommended that the customer purchase adequate travel insurance before starting the trip. Machu-Picchu.Net is not responsible for any additional costs incurred due to the lack of adequate insurance.

Liability:
Machu-Picchu.Net is not liable for any damages, injuries, or losses suffered by the customer during the trip. We are also not responsible for services provided by third parties.

Jurisdiction:
These terms and conditions will be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the local laws of the relevant jurisdiction.
