Venue details

The town of Pisac will be our first point of visit, the town of Pisac has a mestizo architecture built on indigenous remains by Viceroy Toledo. The archaeological complex that makes up Pisac would have been built during the 10th and 11th centuries of our era, in the period of the Inca expansion and would have had urban and religious purposes.

Each stone worked is an independent work of art in relation to the others, with different sides, angles and volumes. The ancient Peruvians, oblivious to our ease and pragmatism, had another concept of time and art. Ollantaytambo is also known for an Inca plot drama titled "Ollantay", whose protagonist was General Ollanta; In this literary work the actions take place in this place.

Urubamba has beautiful views of the Sacred Valley, this will be our resting point to enjoy our Peruvian gastronomy, this moment will be for the privilege of your palates.

The town of Chinchero will be our last point of visit which is located near the Piuray lagoon, Chinchero was chosen by the Inca Tupac Yupanqui for the construction of his residence, years later the current Colonial Church of Nuestra Señora de Monserrat. The town of Chinchero is one of the few places in America where the traditional techniques of fiber dyeing are still used by means of dyes of vegetable, mineral or animal origin. Chinchero weavers traditionally weave in the double-sided technique, or double-sided warp creating high-quality textiles and with traditional designs that reflect their experiences and beliefs, you will be part of a demonstration in which the settlers will show you these ancestral techniques..
