The service is provided in buses equipped purely for a touristic trip, looking for the best way to travel from Cusco to Puno and from Puno to Cusco, so our client can enjoy different locations that hold magical charm and an ancestral history, such as: The Sistine Chapel of the Americas or the Andahuaylillas church, the mighty Temple of Wiracocha, the majestic La Raya pass (road limit between Cusco and Puno, with a beautiful view of the Chimboya Glacier, and the fascinating Lithic Museum of the Pukará culture.

Andahuaylillas Sistine Chapel of America

Located in the village of San Pedro, the Sistine Chapel of America. The village of Andahuaylillas is about 36 km southeast of Cusco. It is located a short distance off of the main road (Highway 32N) from Cuzco to Puno. While the exterior of the church looks rather humble, it is the interior, that makes this one of the most valuable jewels of the colonial art in Peru, sometimes called the Capilla Sixtina or Sistine Chapel of America.

Raqchi Archaeological Complex

Between the snow-capped peaks and original villages, in the Andean highlands between Cusco and Puno, there is the beautiful preinca site of Raqchi. Immediately noticeable are the slender, but very imprecisely crafted columns of Raqchi, some of which rise up to a height of 12 meters into the sky. Undoubtedly the heart of the once rectangular settlement high above sea level is the extraordinary temple of Raqchi. Consisting of volcanic rock and clay, the temple dedicated to the Inca god Viracocha is unique in Latin America.

Our lunch buffet includes a wide variety of national and regional food. The buffet is included in the price of the bus ticket. Cold drinks such as sodas or beers are not included. Lunch lasts 40 minutes.

La Raya Pass the highest point on the Route

the Raya pass, the highest point of the route, we are at an altitude of 4325 m (14,222 ft). At this point, the cordilleras of Central and South of Peru join together forming the node" of Vilcanota, whose snowy peaks, often covered with clouds. Beyond the pass extend the bare immensity of the Peruvian altiplano to the shores of Lake Titicaca. an unforgettable experience.

Pukara Lithic Museum

The archaeological site of Pukara is located in the modern town of Pucará, about 80kms NW of Lake Titicaca, on the road from Puno to Cuzco. The site was the center of an influential culture dated to approximately 2000 years ago.

Pick up of guests
We can pick you up at your hotel, as long as it is in the Historic Center of Cusco. Your guide will coordinate the pick-up time at the briefing, but please note that the time may vary by 20-35 minutes due to traffic.
Group Tours
Group tours are made up of different types of people, then physical conditions and ages can vary. By agreeing to be part of a group tour, you also accept that some people may be faster or slower than you. Therefore, each person can go at their own pace on the route. It may be the case that a group wishes to modify the tour; however, the guide will be the one who decides, after consulting with all the participants, if such modifications are possible.
Strikes in cusco
Are usually common in Peru, and this may interrupt some of our tours. Roads can be blocked, and train tracks can be taken over. However, we will try to keep your trip as originally planned, even if it means leaving the night before the scheduled date. Under these circumstances, tours may also be canceled. In case of changes or cancellations, everything will be coordinated with you by our operations department. Your safety is our highest priority, and our decisions will be made to protect it.
Lost objects
Please pay attention to where you leave your things and remember to take everything once you leave our transport, tents, or restaurants. You’re the only one responsible for your objects during the tour.
I can change or cancel my transportation
Of course you can modify the date of your tour up to 24 hours before and you can cancel up to 15 days before, but there will be charges for administrative expenses
Should I tip the guides
How much is appropriate? A tip is voluntary, but the amount is at your discretion. Whatever you feel is appropriate based on the service you have received is fine; please remember to always be courteous and respectful with our guides.
